Is this for real???? Just when i was laying off Westcott as he does have a pretty decent fight for his level coming up and THEN THIS!!!!

This schmyr guy really his wins lets look at this
    Wins
2-5 constant (constant has losses to wedderburn, hicks and mcarthur)back in the lazy hicks days to boot

1-3 Boux ?? never even heard of that duy

Two losses to some what legit fighters both beat him in under 2-1/2min of 1st round

    Wins again
0-3 Okeyon (who is he? but he did take schmyr to a decision)

and the finale 1-6 Veltri,, schmyr is the only guy that Veltri has even survived until the second round with and Veltri is a tiny skinny small 45’er

wow big props on lining up a doozey

Something wrong with wanting to stay active? Especially after impressing the guys at the TUF tryouts and just barely missibg the cut. With UFC scheduled to come back to Canada twice at least this year, taking a hard fight and a winnable fight is a pretty smart thing to do in my eyes. You have a problem with Sheldon maybe you should fight him, would you be a tougher opponent for him.

I’ve been to the last two cards in Yellowknife and I got to tell ya! The fights were great, the town was great-everything was friggin great.
I think it is great what 5-Star is doing, bringing MMA to the north.
Try going to one of these events in GP, DC and YK. They are a blast, great week end fun.

  4. Jerobe says:

Sheldon Westcott needs to fight and beat top Canadian fighters such as:

    1. Ryan Ford
    2. Tyson Steele
    3. Alex Garcia
    4. Nathan Gunn
    5. Advin Omic

When Westcott beats 2 or 3 of these fighters, by all means send him to the UFC.

Just my 2 cents. And Kellen we arn’t all fighters on this site. I never have fought MMA nor ever plan on it. I am a fan of Canadian MMA.

I cant see westcott getting the ufc call, both him and ford cant compete with the welters in the mfc ,nevermind the bigger league.lol

  6. Kellen says:

We will see how this fight with Webb goes first then see what his competition level is at. Its a tough fight and I think Sheldon has the tools to beat him. After that, I think you guys are right, seeing a few of those fights would be nice although I dont think the Ryan Ford fight will happen as they train together sometimes I believe. Id like to see him fight Gunn for sure tho!
