Ryan Machan vs Michael Madrid
Round 1: Mike looks a lot bigger than Ryan. Mike lands a couple of leg kicks then the fighters clinch up against the cage. Mike turns Ryan and starts pinning him up against the cage. The fighters reach a stalemate so the referee separates them. Mike lands a side kick and a jab to Ryan’s body. Ryan shoots for a takedown again but Mike defends and lands a number of really hard elbows to the side of Ryan’s head. The elbows opened up a cut on Ryan’s head. Action slows and the fighters are separated again. Mike is using his kicks and jab to keep Ryan out of range. Ryan shoots for another takedown and Mike defends and lands a few more elbows to the same spot on Ryan’s head for good measure.

Round 2: Mike lands a nice side kick to open the round. Ryan throws a spinning backfist and rushes for the clinch. Ryan takes Mike down momentarily but he gets back up and the fighters separate. Ryan rushes in again and completes a great takedown but Mike uses the cage to stand right back up. Ryan takes him down again and this time manages to take Mike’s back. Mike powers up to his feet but Ryan still has Mike’s back. Ryan gives up the back and takes Mike down yet again but Mike uses his power advantage to stand back up.

Round 3: This time Mike throws a side kick and takes Ryan down. Mike stands up and Ryan scores a great upkick. Mike lets Ryan back up and Ryan lands a big right hand and then takes Mike down. Mike tries to stand up but gives up his back in the process. Ryan takes him back down and lands a bunch of punches from back mount. Ryan rolls Mike overs and starts working for a rear naked choke. Ryan locks in a body triangle and closes out the round in a dominant position.

Michael Madrid defeats Ryan Machan by Split Decision

Joe Keesick vs. Aaron Gallant
Round 1: These fighters waste no time and just start throwing bombs. It looks like Aaron is getting the better of the exchanges though. Aaron takes Joe down but gives up his position while attempting a guillotine choke. Joe escapes and takes Aaron’s back. Joe flattens Aaron out and starts working for a rear naked choke but gives it up and starts landing some really hard shots. Aaron escapes out the back door and the fighters stand up. Aaron lands a few great crosses and Joe lands a few long jabs. Joe shoots in for a double leg and secures a takedown. Joe passes to half mount but Aaron quickly recovers guard and attempts an arm bar. The fighters scramble to their feet and Joe lands three hard jabs in a row. Joe is really turning up the heat on Aaron and lands a flurry of strikes to close the round. This was a close round.

Round 2: Aaron is goading Joe on and Joe responds with a few leg kicks that land. Aaron moves in with a flying knee attempt and then takes Joe down. Aaron passes to half mount and lands a few strikes before Joe recovers guard. Aaron passes again into half mount and lands a couple of really short elbows while working to pass Joe’s guard. Aaron passes into side control but Joe recovers half guard. Joe regains full guard but Aaron is punishing him for his efforts but overall Aaron isn’t doing a lot of damage from top position. Referee Brian Beauchamp justifiably stands the fighters up just as the round ends.

Round 3: Aaron lands a nice leg kick and Joe shoots for a takedown. Aaron easily stuffs the takedown and transitions to side control. Joe recovers guard then tries to stand up but Aaron drags him back down and passes to side control. Joe scrambles and Aaron takes his back and then takes side control. From side control Aaron lands a couple of knees and a couple elbows. Joe manages to stand back up and Aaron takes him back down with a massive slam. Joe recovers guard again and attempts a triangle choke but it isn’t even close. Not a lot is happening so the referee stands them up again.

Aaron Gallant defeats Joe Keesick by Unanimous Decision

Josh Griffin vs. Jeff Porter
Round 1: Josh lands a bunch of body shots on Jeff while pinning him against the cage. He takes him down gets Jeff’s back and starts working for an RNC. it looked like he had it but Jeff escapes. Josh transitions to mount then back again to back mount. Jeff shucks him off though and gets top position. Josh uses the butterfly guard to sweep Jeff and regain mount. Josh rolls. Jeff regains guard. Josh attempts an arm bar but Jeff escapes and stands up. Jeff shoots for a double leg and scores a takedown but Josh’s back is up against the cage. It looks like Josh is taking a breather. Jeff pulls him the ground and Josh attempts another arm bar then transitions to a toe hold just as the round finishes. What a crazy round!

Round 2: Josh lands a spinning back kick that looked like it hurt Jeff. He tries it again but Jeff counters it with a hard right cross and takes Josh down with a double leg. Josh gets back to his feet but Jeff is still pinning him against the cage. Jeff scores another takedown and takes Josh’s back. It looks like Jeff is working for neck crank from side control but Josh is defending perfectly. Jeff transitions to mount and attempts an arm bar but Josh pulls out and gets top position. Josh passes to half guard but Jeff sweeps him and immediately passes to side control. From side control Jeff lands a hard knee to Joshes body and starts working for a kimura but gives it up and instead lands a few strikes to Josh’s body. Josh recovers guard and the action starts to slow down finally. Jeff manages to land a couple of hard elbows just before the round ended. These fighters are keeping an inhuman pace!

Round 3: I have to think whoever has the best cardio will win this round. The fighters throw a few shots before clinching up against the fence. Jeff scores a takedown and with Josh up against the cage passes to side control. Jeff tries to get Josh’s back but Josh slips out and gets top position . Jeff gives Josh his back and Josh almost immediately attempts an arm bar. Jeff excepts but gives up mount to Josh in the process. Jeff escapes eventually and the fighters stand back up. Josh drags Jeff down this time and attempts another arm bar but Jeff easily shucks it off and maintains top position. From the bottom Josh tries another arm bar but is not in a position to finish and Jeff escapes and passes to to mount. From mount Jeff attempts an arm bar and Josh taps! Amazing. What a fight!

Matt Krayco vs. Curtis Blackmore
Round 1: Matt lands a nice leg kick but when he moves in for a second time Curtis shoots for a takedown. Curtis gives up on the takedown and starts working for a standing guillotine. Curtis is just yanking Matt’s head around working for that guillotine. He even picks him up off the mat. It is literally painful to watch. Curtis pulls guard to keep working on that guillotine. It looked like Matt was about to tap but he fought through it and popped out of that crazy guillotine. From top position Matt just starts reigning down blows. Eventually Referee Len Koivisto sees enough and stops the fight.

Randy Chung vs. Zach Snyder
Round 1: Randy pins Zach up against the cage but randy pushes off and gets a body lock takedown. Zach passes to half mount. Randy explodes from the bottom and the fighters scramble. Randy ends up securing top position. From guard Zach is completely shutting down Randy. Eventually Randy decides to drop back for a leg attack but Zach just immediately stands up. This was a close round.

Round 2: Randy charges in with a leg kick and Zach counters with a great straight right hand that stuns Randy. The fighter exchange in the middle of the cage but Zach keeps getting the better of Randy in every exchange. Randy moves in a throws a combination of all faints. Randy’s nose is bleeding everywhere now and referee Brian Buachamp stops the fight to have the doctor take a look. The doctor says he is ok so the fight resumes. Wow just before the round ended Zach landed an awesome high kick.

Round 3: Randy lands a right hand on Zach and takes him down. From guard Zach uses a kimura attempt to roll Randy and secure mount. Zach lands a few elbows to Randy’s shoulder from from mount at the behest of his teamates and is really controlling Randy. Randy manages to scoot to the cage and walk upit but Zack takes his back and drags him back to the mat.

Round 4: Round 4! Both fighters are striking cautiously and nothing is really landing. Finally Randy shoots for a takedown but Zack stuffs it and takes Randy’s back while standing. Randy attempts a trip takedown but Zack lands on top. He really doesn’t do anything with the position and referee Brian Beauchamp stands the fighters up. The fighters clinch up again and Zach takes him down and pins him up against the cage.

Round 5: Rands lands a lice leg kick and Zach returns the favour. Zach shoots for a takedown but completely misses the attempt. Zach lands another leg kick and easy dodges another takedown attempt. Randy lands a few kicks to Zach’s body but is lacking the urgency needed to finish this fight. Zach lands few more punches but is obviously playing defence this round because he knows he is ahead on the scorecards. This was a really close round but I think Randy landed slightly more strikes.

Keegan Oliver vs. Robert Nelson
Round 1: Keegan immediately shoots for a takedown but Robert defends and the fighters scramble for position. Eventually they stand up and Robert starts working for a standing guillotine. Robert literally picks Keegan up off the ground with his guillotine attempt. He tries one more time then Keegan rushes forward and takes Rob down with a double leg. Robert is still holding on to Keegan’s head but Keegan uses that to pass to mount. Keegan lands a punch to Roberts body before Robert rolls to his stomach. Keegan ends the round with some punches to Robert’s arms.

Round 2: Robert lands a nice leg kick but Keegan times it and shoots for a takedown. Keegan pushes Robert up against the cage and completes the takedown then passes to side control then to mount. Robert is expending a lot of energy bucking up from the bottom but Keegan is holding his position. Eventually Robert does escape and stand up. Robert pushes Keegan up against the cage and starts landing knees. Keegan lands a few shots to Roberts face while in the clinch against the cage and Robert complains to referee Len Koivisto but shots to the face are completely legal when the fighters are on their feet. I think those shots threw Robert off his game and Keegan took him down again getting back control. Keegan starts working for a rear naked choke as the round ends.

Round 3: I wonder if Robert will throw any kicks this round. Keegan lands a leg kick then shoots in for a single leg. Robert ties up Keegan’s leg though and is defending the takedown while landing a few knees to Keegan’s body. Rob overpowers Keegan and gets top position. Rob passes into side control. Keegan gets back up though and takes Roberts back. Robert tries to escape but Keegan sinks in his hooks and flattens Robert out working for a rear naked choke. From my position I really can’t see if he is close to getting the choke or not. I’m excited to see how Keegan does when he turns pro and can strike to the face on the ground. He may start finishing these fights.

Scott MacDonald vs. Gurdip Rangi 
Round 1: Scott is moving around a lot but neigher fighter is landing many shots. Gurdip must have landed something though because a cut opened up above Scott’s eye. Scott lands a body kick but Gurdip comes back with a hard leg kick. Scott tries throwing a leg kick but Gurdip counters with a straight right. Scott moves in again but Gurdip lands a great combination. Scott is more active this round but Gurdip’s strikes are a lot more effective.

Round 2: Gurdip lands a nice straight left then hurts Scott with a flying knee. Seeing the damage done Gurdip charges in with a punching combination. Scott shoots for a takedown and Gurdip sprawls to defend. Scott’s corner is really down on him this round. It’s depressing. Scott shoots for a takedown again but Gurdip defends and starts tying up one of Scott’s arms. Eventually Gurdip moves to Scott’s back and ties him up with a grapevine. With only control of Scott’s arms Gurdip quickly secures a rear naked choke.

Zach Manywounds vs. Andrew VanderVelden
Round 1: Andrew lands a nice push kick. Both fighters look really relaxed. Andrew lands a body kick and the fighters clinch up. Andrew uses the clinch to take Zach down. Andrew gets head control and uses it to pass from side control into mount. Without strikes to the face allowed on the ground mount is tough to capitalize on though. Andrew is holding his position well but after a while Zach bucks up and reverses Andrew winding up in his guard. From guard Andrew does a great job controlling Zach and throws up a triangle attempt seconds before the round ends.

Round 2: Andrew catches one of Zach’s kicks and lands a nice inside leg kick himself. Zach changes forward though and takes Andrew down. From top position Zach is keeping busy landing short shots to Andrews body. Andrew tries to get up but Zach drags him back down. Zach’s corner is calling for knees to the tailbone and Zach complies. Eventually referee Brian Beauchamps sees enough and stands the fighters up. On their feet the fighters quickly clinch up and Zach pins Andrew up against the cage landing numerous knees to Andrews legs. Andrew turns him and lands a number of knees of his own as the round ends.

Round 3: Andrew lands a nice body kick and follows it up with a couple of leg kicks and two more body kicks before Zach catches a kick and takes Andrew down. From guard Andrew locks in a omaplata and uses it to roll Zach securing mount. Zack recovers half guard and Andrew starts landing hard elbows to Zach’s chest. Zach is working for wrist control from the the bottom but Andrew keeps punishing him with elbows to the body from half guard. After a while referee Brian Beauchamp stands them up and Zach starts landing a fury of punches to Andrew’s body. I thought Andrew was doing a lot of damage from top position so the stand up wasn’t necessary. Topmmanews scores the round 10-9 Andrew VanderVelden.

Anton Tokarchuk vs. Kurt Elke
Round 1: Physically Anton looks like he will dominate Kurt in this fight. Anton has a significant reach advantage but is doing a lot of strange defensive stuff with his hands when the action begins. Kurt is pumping his jab but hasn’t closed the distance yet. Kurt jumps in and Anton drops him with a left hand and just nonchalantly turns away as referee Brian Beauchamp stops the fight.

Dale Tallman vs. Desmond Ryland
Round 1: Dez starts the fights with a nice body shot then the fighters cluch up. As they break up Dale lands a great overhand right and follows it up with a crushing hook to Dex’s body. The fighters mix it up a few more times before Dale loads up an overhand right and knocks Desmond out cold in dramatic fashion!

Louie Grover vs. Blake Sigvaldason
Round 1: Blake’s pre-fight intensity is just awesome and Louie does not look intimidated. I’m excited for this fight! Louie starts the action off with a great body kick but follows it up with two kicks to Blake’s groin. When the action resumes Blake lands two crushing hooks. Louie tries to take Blake down but Blake winds up on top in Louie’s guard. Blake keeps working to pass into half guard but Louie keeps recovering. Eventually on a pass attempt Louis grabs a leg and attempts a knee bar. Blake escapes and the fighters stand back up. Louie charges in and lands a great combination. Louie charges again but this time Blake counters with a hard combination of his own. This is a really close fight.

Round 2: Blake opens the round with a nice leg kick and then shoots for a takedown. Louie winds up on top though and transitions to back mount quickly locking in a body triangle. Louie gets way under Blake’s chin and manages to tap Blake out with an RNC.

James Nanasca vs. Justin Buxton
Round 1: The fighters start off the action by exchange a lot of lek kicks. Eventually James moves forward with a combination and follows it with a takedown attempt. Justin defends well and eventually takes James down. From guard though, James quickly locks up an arm. Justin rolls to defend but James transitions beautifully and forces Justin to tap.
