  5. Bobby Karimi-Busheri says:

Hicks vs MacArthur was a great fight. First round was all stand up, both guys were throwing and coming forward for the most part. Was exciting and fun. I had MacArthur winning the 1st. 2nd round started much the same but then Hicks got MacArthur down and threw GNP, MacArthur did t really improve position and was more or less seemingly just defending but Hicks didn’t stop with the GNP attack and was getting through more and more and gy the TKO ref stoppage.
Both guys have improved, Marcus looked in great shape, fight was all action all the time! Up to now FOTN!

Quickly on Imperato win… He looked great. Got a monster slam, landed in side control, immediately started to move for better position and blah blah blah rolled for a triangle and got tap. Very quick and impressive win over a tough opponent.

Rd1: Davidson shoots in under a Grummet jab and gets takedown. Moves to side, working elbows, grummet traps his leg he frees it and gets full mount, dropping some good lefts. Grummet turns and manages to sneak Davidson back in an almost half guard. Davidson very smoothly slides forward grabs grummet by neck ad slips on a guillotine, then rolls to his back and WHAMMO tappety tap tap. Very impressive ground display by Davidson. 2:38.

    Thanks for the updates Bobby!

Very interesting to hear Hicks is in good shape! Looking forward to seeing what he does next.

Imperato and Davidson are apparently both studs on the ground.

What’s next for Tyler Davis? Love to see him get a bigger fight in AFC or SFS.

Just wanna say thanks to Mark for being such a stand up guy, very humble and respectful. In fact the whole independent teamwas a class act. Mark was easily one of my toughest opponents yet to date, he was a cardio machine and tough as nails to boot. Add.in that little tidbit about him being 38 and you got yourself a remarkable athlete, it was truly an honor to do battle with such a warrior……thank you. I though the Pfc setup was very good, Brent Harvie won my choice for fight of the night with a huge hard fought come back win over Rob Santos .
