Prior to his UFC debut, Hollett was in the midst of a 5 fight win streak including wins over John Hawk under the Bellator banner as well as TKO victory over former Top Ten ranked Martin Desilets. The former MFC Light Heavyweight also holds notable victories over Aaron Lofton, Ricardeau Francois and Victor Valimaki, whom he defeated the capture the MFC Title.
Prado is coming off a pair of bouts against Phil Davis, the first of which ended in a no contest after Prado was poked in the eye and was unable to continue. In the rematch, Davis submitted Prado by Anaconda choke in the second round. Prado, a member of Team Nogueira, is undefeated outside of the UFC and has finished 7 of his 8 victories by some form of knockout.
