    @cavemanbully

    Yeah and I hate to say it because i love supporting AFC and my guys on the card. But the stream is literally stalling every three seconds. It was good for about a five minute stretch and them back to it buffering again. Just sucks when you’re trying to follow the action. I hope it gets better.

  12. Powell is the best 170 lb fighter from Ontario not in the UFC.

    He has been wrecking the western 170 lbers.

    If you missed Don’s interview with Joel, check it out. It’s a very good one! Joel seems like a real good guy.

  14. Kembel Web Design says:

    Hey guys, if you can help us out with the feed it would be greatly appreciated. We moved to a new system and went to an HD only stream. We were testing it in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC and it streamed perfectly all night. We understand that some people did have issues, so we want to find out why, and how.

    Can you please let me know which browser, and what internet connection you have? We want to make sure that EVERYONE can see the fights in as best quality as possible on ANY connection without issues.

    Unfortunately the internet is quite different that a television broadcast. The better quality we stream in, the more choppy it will be for those on smaller connections.

    We strive to have the best fighters, events AND LIVE STREAMS in Canadian MMA. Please let me know and we promise to do our best to make a name for Canadian MMA!

    Cavemanbully – Did you have issues? This was tested in Niagra falls on a standard Shaw Extreme account the entire night with Google Chrome and it didn’t pause at all.

    Ginger – I am thinking in the future for Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba DSL connections, we are going to have to create a lower quality stream. I just did a test on DSL with Telus High Speed Turbo (10-15mps) and I noticed it was buffering after 10 minutes if the Telus Set Top Box was also turned on. I am sorry about this on this fight. We wanted to provide the best quality in the stream as possible. There are things in the future we can do to improve this. I will have a disclaimer next time as well, about slower DSL connections.

    Keith, you definitely should not have had a choppy display. It is possible with IE 8, but not likely with Chrome. Can you explain exactly what was occuring? What are the specs on your computer. I am sorry if this was choppy. I am very curious because if your Shaw connection is anything like Ontario and Alberta, we had people running Extreme in Chrome without a single blip in the picture for buffering. I am really curious to help make sure this does not happen again.

    Thanks guys! I appreciate your help!

    That was a great show to fight on; very reputable opponent in Jon Henderson. Excited to line up with the next rung in the latter (so to speak). That main event was crazy! If you are going to stand there and flip the coin in the center of the cage it’s gonna be a 50/50 every time; very honorable approach for the fans and the show to put it on the line like that.

  22. congrats on the win, Nathan. Henderson is a solid opponent!

  23. My experience was the same as others. No more than 10 seconds of action ever, but more like 3-5 seconds on average before it would buffer for 4-5 seconds.

    The bird fight was bad, that poor girl shouldn’t have been in there with her I think. Please someone find Sheela a real fight, she is way to good to be fighting a young lady that hasn’t even won a fight yet? She’s a real deal bjj black belt and very slick. Would love to see how she would stack up in Invicta vs Davis or Young.
