Aggression Fighting Championship Becomes Interactive with Youtoo TV

October 1, 2012 – Youtoo TV, a leader in interactive television, today announced it reached an agreement with KoldCast Entertainment Media, LLC to bring mixed martial arts (MMA) programming to Youtoo TV’s interactive fall TV lineup.

The deal paves the way for the AFC, Canada’s largest MMA organization, to air fights each Saturday night on Youtoo TV during a 2-hour block called, “Aggression TV MMA,” premiering Saturday, October 6, 2012. Youtoo TV reaches 15 million U.S. households.

Now, MMA fans will have the chance to be on TV during the program by recording a video, known as a “Fame Spot.” If chosen by producers, the viewer will appear on the show. Viewers can also interact with fighters by downloading the Youtoo mobile app or visiting

“MMA fans are among the most diehard sports fans on the planet,” says David S. Samuels, KoldCast’s CEO. “On Youtoo TV, viewers can watch AFC fights and personally engage MMA fighters through Youtoo’s patented TV technology, which allows viewers to be on TV in a few simple clicks.”

MMA is a full contact combat sport that allows the use of striking and grappling techniques used across a variety of other combat sports. In recent years, the sport has gone mainstream, attracting an ever-growing fan base.

Chris Wyatt, CEO of Youtoo TV, said, “As pioneers in interactive television, we’re excited to push the envelope of sports programming. Making AFC televised fighting interactive is a big step forward in defining the future of the broadcast sports.”

“Aggression TV MMA” debuts on October 6, 2012 at 9:00 pm EST with an encore presentation on Sunday at 1:00 pm EST. Produced by Aggression TV, each Saturday a new AFC fight will air on Youtoo TV. The bouts will include extended programming from short-form MMA reality shows, to docudramas and fight mash-ups.

“The impact of weekly television exposure offers huge value for our brand, sponsors, and fighters,” said AFC co-owner Harvey Panesar. “This is a great opportunity to be on the cutting edge of technology. AFC’s fighters are already primed to use Youtoo technology – they love their fans and their fans love them. Youtoo technology KO’s every other social capability we have seen to-date.”

I don’t really get how the “interaction/fame spot” part works. Could one of the AFC guys please explain.

Also will there be 2hrs of AFC every saturday on the Youtoo channel?

Is this channel available in Canada?

Perhaps you should tell the owner of YouToo that’s he’s a bozo. His name is Mark Burnett maybe you’ve heard of him, he created Survivor, Celebrity Apprentice, The Voice, The Peoples Choice Awards and Shark Tank.

Youtoo TV, formerly known as American Life TV Network (ALN), GoodLife TV Network, Nostalgia Television and Nostalgia Channel, is an American cable-television channel launched on May 1, 1985. It now claims over 15 million subscribers throughout the U.S.

You’re really just making yourself look bad, there’s nothing wrong with healthy competition. Embrace the challenge this is great for all the fighters and fans that there is another Canadian promotion that will be live in millions of homes in the US as well the added exposure all our fighters will have as we will need 2 hours of new content every week.

Thanks for the support and the hate, they both keep us motivated!

  5. Youtoo is a US television network owned by Mark Burnett of survivor and apprentice fame. Its carried on Verizon fios, time Warner cable and Comcast. Currently over 15 million people subscribe to the network. It is branded as aggression TV MMA. We have been working very hard developing original programs to feature along with our fights. Fans will get to see some cool new mma reality shows, docu dramas, mashups and fights. We will also be carrying content from some other promotions as well when it makes sense. The fame spots are basically through an app for iPhone Android and blackberry. For fighters this a great way to upload commercials that will air throughout the ad schedules. Basically fighters can promote themselves, sponsors and aggressionfc on a continuous basis. The commercials appear on the youtoo website and the best ones appear on TV. Great for the fighters and a great way to introduce our brand as we move into new markets. Youtoo is currently only in the US however Canadian carriage deals will be announced shortly. Hope this helps.

BKB, YouToo isn’t currently available in Canada, US TV only. However KoldCast will be featuring the same content online.

Yes, 2 hours of Aggression TV every Saturday. This will include AFC events, highlights, mash ups and new docudramas (reality shows) Basically a lot of our fighters are going to have to get used to the cameras following them around.

The “Fame spot” to access this just download the YouToo app on any smart phone (iPhone, Blackberry, Andriod etc.) Then just follow the prompts (Literally 3 clicks) and you can record yourself. That gets sent to Youtoo and if they like it, they air on TV. For example our fighters may say, “Hey I’m Chris “The Killer” Olsen and I’m fighting in the AFC Nov.2 in Calgary Alberta, make sure you tune in and watch me KO this fool… I’m coming for the belt!”

We are happy to have FINALLY signed Chris Olsen to an exclusive AFC deal starting with his first appearance in Calgary at DOMINATION. I’ve met with him personally and this guy is HUNGRY for competition. He IS indeed, ‘comin for the belt’

  8. Having a weekly slot is great for our fighters, sponsors and fans as they get to see mma and in particular our fighters on a weekly basis. Great for sponsors as they get constant exposure as opposed to 3 or 4 times a year.

  11. Hey stud. At least we don’t hide behind our screen names. The people that matter are the fighters and the people who pay the bills and allow us to put on multiple events with top fighters and of course the fans who love this sport.

We embrace competition. It’s healthy for the sport, any sport. Let the haters hate. It gives us a laugh and makes us stronger. None of us need to hide behind different screen names. When you are on top, like us, there is no need to trash talk. Our actions speak louder than words.

If MSG, or STP or mFc is #1 in Canada, then why are they putting shows on in a banquet hall. Yeah, that sounds like a venue for a #1 ranked promotions company….FAIL!

I think this news is great, it shows all the haters, huh hmmm, Mark Pavelich aka MMAPolice aka Edmonton Stud aka MFCRocks aka Your Organization Is On The Decline, that the collective work of Armegeddon, Aggression and Ax are working together to build the biggest and best MMA Organization in Canada. I can’t wait for this site to start showing who puts thumbs up or down, cause I’m pretty sure someone’s using multiple computers/smartphones to cast a vote!
