Instinct Fighting’s Fall Events Cancelled
Top MMA News has learned that Instinct Fighting will not hold hold a show until sometime this winter.
Despite the recent signings of Brandon Thatch and Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos to a fight anticipated to be held in September and October, Instinct president Stephane Patry has been forced to “cancel all the scheduled events this fall.” At least one of the fall shows was to be held in Denver, Colorado. Top MMA News confirmed that shows will be postponed with Instinct’s Patrick Lono.
Stephane Patry sent a note to managers and fighters today that indicated that he was having health issues and would be unable to hold any events until winter. This note was forwarded to Top MMA News by one of the recipients.
Here is the letter:
First of all I’d like to apologize for my silence in the last couple of weeks. It’s been a very difficult period for me that culminated in the last couple of days.
I will unfortunately have to think about myself and my health and cancel all the scheduled events this fall.
Contrary to rumors heard left and right, I will be back this winter and the activities and events will resume and it will be business as usual. A press release will be sent shortly.
I also realize and understand that these cancellations will directly affect some of you and I feel very sorry for this. I will be available starting Thursday to individually discuss with each of you. Don’t hesitate to contact me from that day.
Thank you for your understanding – keep training hard and get ready for a very hot winter.
Top MMA News wishes Mr. Patry a speedy recovery and eagerly awaits Instinct Fighting’s rescheduled events.
