lyoto machida solves the bones jones puzzle in a rematch. (if jones beats hendo) which i believe he will, via rear naked choke xo

    mark my words

Machida next LHW champ via UD or late ko over Jon Jones

Between Machida and Shogun it was The Dragon who looked like a champion tonight. Bader’s not a gimme fight and Lyoto made him look like an amateur.

Machida can beat BJB. The question is will he.

Hey Donnie is a long time Lyoto fan. I remember tracking down youtube (pre-google when it was slow as hell) and watching him fight McDonald and Franklin. He’s a monster.

Lyoto is the modern day Tito. He solves people who other people can’t solve. He was so close with Jones but I think the reach of JBJ gave him bigger issues than expected, mostly because of how well Jones uses it.

A second fight will be very different. That said Jones is still evolving so its entirely possible Jackson can game plan better for Machida. A rematch ends quickly and decisively or goes a full 5 rounds with Jones “Jog and Jabbing” to a decision.

PS – If I was coaching Jones I’d be working on a Jog and Jab game plan.

I’m just hoping Teixeira defeats Jackson so they can book Rua vs Teixeira! Or unless Jackson wants to stick around for Rua vs Jackson II!
