Instinct Signs Thatch to 5 More Fights; Cyborg Next
Instinct MMA’s Stéphane Patry announced on Facebook today that his organization has signed Brandon Thatch (8-1) to a five fight contract extension. Financial terms of the contract were not revealed but this means that Thatch has committed his next six fights with Instinct MMA.
‘Rukus’ has been dominant in the Instinct MMA cage – going 3-0 in only two minutes and 28 seconds of cage time. In fact, Thatch has won all eight of his fights in the first round utilizing his dynamic striking to finish many opponents.
In his last fight, Thatch used his submission skills to finish Martin Grandmont at Instinct MMA 4. Instead of standing with Grandmont, Thatch took his opponent down and submitted him with a Rear Naked Choke.
Next for Thatch appears to by Evangelista ‘Cyborg’ Santos (18-15). Sources close to the fight tell Top MMA News that this fight is expected to take place in September or October of 2012. Santos has not fought in 2012 and was stopped by Jordan Mein and Nick Diaz in 2011 in the Strikeforce cage. However, Santos is a dangerous fighter who has beaten former DREAM champion Marius Zaromskis and current UFC fighter Francis Carmont.

Great fight here in Thatch last fight he looked alittle uncomfortable when being pressured on the feet, he better get used to being punched in the face, Cyborg will bring it to him, I’m very excited to see this 1, In Patry’s interview remember he said Thatch could beat Diaz lets see how good he is, Pretty sad that Instinct gets no love on this site, Instincts by far far number 1 MMA organization in Canada, but MFC has really stepped it up to
THE SCORE HAS PUT ON WAY BETTER FIGHTS IMO !
Booboo ya the score is solid top to bottom, Instinct seems to get hit with to many injuries, But Cyborg Vs Thatch is a huge fight, Instinct, MFC and Score top 3 promotions by far, not it that order
So much for Bosse Vs Babalu
Babalu signed with Bellator and will be in the 205 tournament
