Black Mamba Signs Four Fight Deal with Super Fight League
Following a successful return to MMA in May, British Columbia’s Kultar Gill (11-8) has signed a four fight deal with the Indian promotion Super Fight League.
Gill, who operates the Mamba MMA Academy in Abbotsford, explained why he signed the deal with the SFL to Top MMA News,
When you have Bollywood, MMA, and a billion population, you can’t go wrong. I speak all three of India’s main languages, fans want it and India loves me. So signing with the Super Fight League was an easy decision!
In his previous SFL 3 appearance (that you can watch HERE), “Black Mamba” required only 51 seconds to dismantle his opponent Quinton Arendse. That fight was Gill’s first MMA bout in four years. Following the match, Gill gave an inspired post-fight speech to the delight of a packed house, spiked his microphone to the mat, and ran around the cage apron, steamrolling a camera man in the process.
“(Camera men) have to protect themselves at all times. Just like fighters in the ring,” laughed Gill.
The former PRIDE, K-1, and Shooto fighter indicated that “I don’t have opponent. But would like to fight soon as possible.” With the SFL having shows coming up in September and October in Bengaluru and Chennai, respectively, expect Gill to be fighting in the coming months.
