Jens Pulver is injured and off of next week’s Instinct MMA 4 card, according to lavoixdesguerriers.com. Apparently, Lil’ Evil is injured and had to pull out of his June 29th fight with Stephane Pelletier.  Pulver has been rumoured or announced to be on a couple of Instinct cards, but has yet to fight on one yet.

Pulver, who was in Russia announcing the M-1 Fedor vs Rizzo fight last week, did not appear injured during that telecast but Jens told Top MMA News that he injured his shoulder and is disappointed he had to pull out.

“I feel crushed.  I feel bad, ” said the former UFC champion.  “Me trying to fight in Canada is just a curse.  My weight was good and having this fight was the only reason I brought my gear with me to Russia.”

When asked when we might see him back fighting, Pulver replied,

“Believe me, I don’t want to take any time off.  I am doing it because I enjoy it.  I want to travel and have fun.  Hopefully, we can get this Montreal fight done in August or after.”

There is no word on a new opponent for Stephane Pelletier yet, but Instinct MMA president told Top MMA News that he “is working hard” on a finding replacement.
