Matt MacGrath Steps in to Face Taleb at Bellator
Top MMA News has learned that Nordine Taleb will now face Matt MacGrath at Bellator 67 this weekend at Casino Rama, Ontario in an all-Canadian matchup.
Taleb (7-1) is looking for his second consecutive win in Bellator action after dominating Matt Secor at Bellator 64. The Tristar fighter was due to fight George Lockhart at a 176 lb catchweight, but Lockhart had to pull out of the fight. Nordine Taleb is on a six fight win streak that includes a TKO victory over Pete Sell.
Lockhart’s shoes will be filled by Matt MacGrath (10-7). MacGrath was previously set to face Jordan Beecroft at Elite 1 in Moncton until Beecroft pulled out due to injury a week prior to the fight. MacGrath, who has beaten such as Dean Amasinger and Ryan Machan, will look to put a two fight losing streak to rest with a win over Taleb.
Is it still at 176?
