Mitch Clarke Gets Opponent for UFC Calgary


It will be Mitch Clarke vs. Anton Kuivanen on the UFC 149 card in Calgary. The two fighters will tangle in a preliminary bout on the July 21st event.

Both fighters entered the UFC on 9 fight winning streaks and both are coming into UFC 149 on the heels of UFC debut losses.

Clarke lost his debut to John Cholish in Toronto at UFC 140. The Saskatchewan fighter was TKO’d late in the second round.

Kuivanen lost his sole UFC fight to Justin Salas this February at UFC on Fuel. Kuivanen (16-5) lost the decision.

The two fighters join Jose Aldo, Nick Ring, and Court McGee on the card.
