Wilson should be fighting at 125, he looked tiny compared to both Hill and Fraser.

Congrats to Josh Hill, We are very happy for the opportunity to make the fight.Eric made weight without the sauna! Eric was debating 125 before this fight, but since Fraser, he has been so hungry to fight he didnt care if it was 135 or 125…..He has the true warrior spirit, and I am proud to be a part of his career! He has been off for almost a year, and we finally got a fight and Josh was the man tonight. No excuses at all from our side,Eric came in prepared and it was a great fight! Great job Josh, You’re a complete stud in the cage. I pushed for this fight as a fan more than anything, and I’m glad it finally happened. Congrats to Josh, I cant wait to see you in the big show very soon. All the best bud!

@Steve: I think Wilson used the one advantage a smaller guy has – being able to squirm and move quickly – to keep from being finished. He definitely lost the fight, but he never looked to be hurt, probably because he was moving too well for Josh to really line him up. Got to give Wilson a lot of credit for character, he doesn’t seem to get phased when the going gets rough.

george I agree!!!wilson showed why he is considered one of the best in the weight class…on the other hand I was ringside and spoke to eric as he left the cage…he was beat up…I have nothing but praise for eric wilson…he was a class act with a hostile crowd…eric would be great at 125

  8. george says:

Well, you’d have a better view from ringside than I’d have watching it online, so I won’t argue. He definitely was dominated on the ground, though he looked okay when they stood up though, didn’t seem staggered at all, and was even able to bounce around waiting for the decision, so I’m not sure it should have been stopped. But as I said, that was watching online, you’d see it better ringside.
