Morvan Meets Harris at CWFC 46
Remi Morvan (8-6), possibly Canada’s number 1 flyweight, will look continue his onslaught on his new found weight division when he meets England’s own Phil Harris (19-9) at CWFC 46 on February 23 in the Ukraine.
Morvan made his 125 lbs debut and snapped a 2 fight losing skid when he defeated up start prospect Mike Reilly at Wreck MMA Unfinished Business back in October. Morvan an OAMA prodigy was once ranked in the country’s top Bantamweights and has fought some of the biggest names in the nation including Roland Delorme, Dimitri Waardenburg and Adrian Wooley. Now firmly comfortable in his new weight class Morvan looks to continue his winning ways by not only beating the best in the country but also the best in the world.
Harris a BAMMA veteran has not fought since defeating Neil Seery via unanimous decision at BAMMA 3 last May. An ace grappler who has earned 12 of 19 wins by submission, Harris has competed against some of the best in the world including UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo and TUF hopeful Paul McVeigh.
CWFC recently announced a partnership with MMAjunkie.com to stream all 16 of their events live on the site. Also The Fight Network has the broadcasting right for CWFC in Canada so no matter where you’re from you’ll be able to catch this fantastic Flyweight tussle live.
Good fight and tough test, I really like the Cage Warriors brand!
Nice, so cool that it’ll be streamed! WAR BAM BAM!
This will be a big test for Morvan and to see where he is on the international stage, Phil Harris is a real good 125er.
Is he related to paul harris??
good luck Remi…
Thanks guys, I know it’s a tough test but it’s a very winable fight for me. Thanks to Pat for making it happen and CWFC for having me…. I’m gonna make sure they have to bring me back.
cheers
