Will Jason MacDonald retire or not? Well, the UFC has answered that question by tweeting that JMac will return to the Octagon on May 15 in Fairfax, Virginia. His opponent will be Tom Lawlor (7-4).

MacDonald (25-15) last fought in September when he lost to Alan Belcher. ‘The Athlete’ was contemplating retirement after the bout. MacDonald will look to get to the .500 mark in the UFC with a win as he is currently 6-7 in the Octagon.

Tom Lawlor has lost three of his last four fights in the UFC. His last bout was against Chris Weidman where he lost to a Brabo Choke at UFC 139.

Why? Way too one dimensional. It seemed like his game plan vs. Maia was to go to the ground with him. Maybe he was confident in his ground game against Maia’s, but not very realistic.

    Good Luck JMac!

One of the few fighters that gets me up on my feet when he fights.

Class act guy in and out of the cage.

    Well-loved! Thumb up 7 Thumb down 0
