After four consecutive wins, Chris Clements has finally reached his goal of making the UFC. Clements is set to fight Keith Wisniewski at UFC 145, as confirmed by members of Clements’ camp to Top MMA News on Friday.

Clements (10-4) has won his last four fights – many in spectacular fashion and three for regional title belts. In order, Clements stopped Caleb Grummet for the XCC title, knocked out Jonathan Goulet for the Ringside title, spinning backed kicked Travis Briere for the PFC title and, lastly, came back to stop Rich Clementi at Meltdown in the Valley.

Wisniewski (28-13-1) has fought twice in the UFC, losing to Josh Neer at UFC Live 6 and Nick Thompson at UFC 56. However, he has won six of his last seven including wins over Tristan Yunker, Pete Spratt, and Chris Wilson.

Clements joins Rory MacDonald, Mark Hominick, and Mark Bocek as the fourth Canadian announced for the March 24th Montreal card.

    Congrats to Clements !

mmafan – Ford lost his last fight to Dave Hulett who is 4-4 in his last 8 fights (including a loss to Ryan Machan 4 months before the Ford fight), plus he’s signed to Bellator if I’m not mistaken. Ford won’t be UFC bound anytime soon.

    Well-loved! Thumb up 6 Thumb down 0
