Fightquest 19 Quick Results

Fightquest’s 19th amateur event took place Saturday night at the Complex 222 in St-Constant. In all nine bouts took place.

The originally planned main event between Trsistar/Zahabi’s Neil Sheppard and Kanreikai’s Miky Houle was called off due to the late re-occurrence of an injury that forced Sheppard out of the bout.

Sanctioned by the ‘Federation Quebecoise de Boxe Mixte Amateur’ (FQBM), Saturday’s fights took place under amateur rules. On top of being in a ring, the three rounds are two minutes each. Fighters wear 12 ounce gloves and shin pads. Elbow and knee strikes, hammer-fists, and submissions involving twisting (e.g. heel hooks), are prohibited.

I wasn’t able to make it out, but ring announcer Eric Emard graciously sent in the results.
