  5. Cody Rempel says:

Sass has eight triangle’s and three heel hooks among his 12 victories, should be easy to train for him! haha

  6. Its amazing that he can pull of these subs at such a high level. The way he pulls guard can be very tricky.

  7. Robin Black says:

Cody, you have 6 weeks to train for Paul Sass. You can work heel hook and triangle defense 24-7 and you still won’t be ready.

Your 6 weeks of training defense to those subs is no match for his lifetime of training offense on them.

Those specialists are the toughest to train for.

    BIG congrats to TJ!

  8. Jamie Locke says:

Yeah, I gotta say I didn’t thinks things were going to be good for TJ going into this fight.

He looks outstanding at 155, didn’t look like the cut had any negative effects on his performance and he fits in much better in that weight class.

That was a solid grappling match and TJ’s transitions looked amazing. Great fight for him, congrats on the W and I can’t wait to see him back in the 155 div teraing it up!

Congrats to Scott and the guys at Fitplus as well!

  9. Cody Rempel says:

Robin, I have no illusions that Paul Sass wouldn’t triangle and heel hook me at the same time, just making a joke. I’m sure his opponents already drill triangle escapes like crazy and he still catches them! I could train for 6 years and still not be ready! haha
