Horodecki Off Freedom Fight Card

Chris Horodecki has pulled out of his September 10th fight in Sudbury on the Freedom Fight card. Sources have told Top MMA News that Horodecki removed himself due to the untimely death of his close friend and trainer, Shawn Tompkins. It has been very tough summer for Horodecki as he also lost a close friend prior to his Bellator victory over Chris Saunders.

Freedom Fight owner Pete Rodley has been working hard to fill this whole with a worthy replacement. Freedom Fight is expected to announce a new main event in the next week.

Top MMA News would like to give Chris Horodecki our condolence for his losses.

That is extremely unfortunate…hopefully Chris is okay. Freedom Fights should bring in John Gunderson to replace him. Gunderson is coming off a nice win over Birdsley last weekend and dedicated the fight to Tompkins. He didnt take any damage either and fights at 155

Shawn would have wanted Chris to do what he felt was best.

Chris obviously thinks being a human being who lost a brother and taking time off to mourn is best.

Tough times for Chris. Losing buddies is hard.

Looking forward to seeing him take care of those demons, then get back in the cage and let loose.

I feel bad for The Polish Hammer’s next opponent.
