Veil Lifted on Instinct MMA

Finally, Stephane Patry has lifted the veil on Instinct MMA. Today, Patry finally announced that Instinct MMA will debut October 7th at the Centre d’Excellence Sports Rousseau de Boisbriand in Montreal, Quebec. For fans outside Quebec the event will be broadcast on PPV with Bell Express Vue and Viewers Choice, Party is also in negotiations with Shaw Cable.

Canada`s 6th ranked Light Heavyweight Steve Bosse will finally get his chance to stand and bang when he takes on UFC veteran Houston Alexander. This will be a tough test for Bosse who hasn’t fought since June of 2010 when he defeated a sub .500 Mychal Clark. Alexander on the other hand has been extremely active of late going 3-0 in the last 12 months defeating the likes of Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and Razak Al-Hassan.

Patrick Cote will continue his journey back to the UFC in the night`s co-main event when he throws down with another UFC veteran in Crafton Wallace. Cote, Canada`s 3rd ranked Middleweight, has had a great 2011 with wins over Kalib Starnes and Todd Brown. Wallace hasn;t had the same luck, he`s 0-2 in his last bouts and hasn’t fought since May 2010.

Also on the card Heavyweight boxing prospect Eric Barrak makes his MMA debut when he takes on fellow boxer turned MMA fighter Eric “Butterbean“ Esch. Derek Gauthier will return to the cage against IFL veteran Travis Cox. The nights main card will be started off with a tremendous Bantamweight tilt when Dimitri Waardenburg locks horns with Syd Barnier. Other fighter with opponents yet to be announced are Guillaume Lamarche, Shawn Davidson, Yan Pellerin and Yannick Galipeau. TBA opponents should be announced soon. Stay tuned too for all things Instinct MMA
