C3 Fights Postponed

By:

(Oshawa ON) Due to unforeseen training injuries and immigration/passport deadline issues of fighters, C3Fights Canada announces that the August 20th event at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa will be rescheduled.

“Our first obligation is to deliver first class quality competition to our fans and these recent injuries and issues have inhibited our ability to bring to Oshawa the level of event that has been the company standard. The event will be rescheduled to a later date in conjunction with the approval of the Ontario Athletic Commission,” stated C3 Fights Canada.

Any tickets purchased via credit card for the August 20th date will be automatically refunded. Any tickets purchased via cash or debit card must be returned at the General Motors Centre Box Office by no later than Friday, August 26th to receive their refund.

Once a new date is scheduled, tickets will go back on sale and will be available at the General Motors Centre Box Office, by phone at 1-877-436-8811 or online at generalmotorscentre.com. For additional information please visit c3fights.ca.

    from the C3 website:

Not only is Hinds looking out for the future of his fighters, he is also looking at expanding his roster to include the most recent unemployed fights.

“The UFC’s Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem just pulled out of his Sept. 10 match against Antonio Silva due to injuries,” Hinds explained. “And with any luck, we hope to pursue Alistair Overeem for a C3 Fights Canada event since he is now a free agent. So stay tuned.”
