Please tell me this isn’t a same day weigh in.
Nope, weigh-ins happened last night.
Nice, thanks Jason!
Looks like I’m winning at Internetz today ;)
Thanks JB. For my second question:
“What’s with all the wonky ‘catchweight’ fights?”
No clue… weigh-in sheet they sent actually said “revised” under the weights for those ones…
LOL – Nuttin’ says ‘profeshunal’ like a scale side renegotiation… I suppose out in Alberta it really is the Wild West!
Good luck to Julius Huhs! I know u got this.Pro debut & first win coming up.
am fighters all agreed to catchweights because some guys didnt want to see there opponants work to cut the weight at the event. just offered catchweights to be sportsmanlike. since some wernt pro they have no purse to lose so saw no point in it.
Hmm, good point. We wouldn’t want these fighters to learn anything from the weigh in process. I mean its not like they could apply these skills at a later point.
Amatuer fighters should follow the same rules around weigh ins and weigh classes at professionals. Other wise what’s the point?
Big Boi. “Alberta” isn’t ALL Wild west. Not every show is like this.
