How does a judge score the Aldo vs Hominick fight 50-43? You cant call the 5th round anything but Hominick.

Yea I agree, we were even thinking 10-8 hominick at 1 point!

GSP is the scaredest champion in the history of combat sports.

Hominick has the heart of a lion! GSP could learn a thing or two from him.

“GSP is the scaredest champion in the history of combat sports.”

Apparently so, considering he has faced and cleared out his entire division – many of the best in the world twice even. Get your head out of your ass.

  6. GSP does enough to win. His style has not been entertaining lately. However, if you consider MMA to be a sport, how you win does not matter.

Kieth I agree 100% on your comment. But I mean go out and finish, if you want to be the best p4p fighter you should be able to destroy a mediocre striker in Shields. I was way more impressed that Jake stood with GSP (lost but did remarkably well). I was seriously hoping Jake was going to get an upset, it maybe good for GSP and put some fire in his eyes.

  8. I have no problem with people cheering against GSP because of his style. He will turn into a heel champion if he has not become one already (even in his own country) with his no-risk style.

However, he is top P4P in my book due to absolutely cleaning out his division. He beat Shields who has not lost in 15 fights with vision in one eye for 2+ rounds. He is not scared. His style is dull, that is all.

  9. Darren…totally agree Doug Crosby was that judge. He should be fired.

I had last round 10-8 Hominick for a final score of 48-46.

I think the fight with aldo and hominick should have been stopped when the machine had the huge welt on his forehead. That causes a great concern for the sport in Ontario with such a green comission. i also think that it could have future problems for head injury for the machine, even tho he wanted to fight on i think he had no chance. That was a stupid call to let him continue. That goes to show you whats more important the money rather than the fighter.

Well it’s the doctor’s call, not the commission’s.

The KOS/GSP fight, probably should have been stopped given what happened to Kos. We will see if Hominick has anything serious come out of it.

Hopefully he is ok. Guy’s got some stones.
