The Bulldog Challenges The Predator at Ringside 11

Ringside 11 has finally got its main event as Patrick “The Predator” Cote returns to face UFC veteran Todd “Bulldog” Brown. Originally posted by Nicolas Landry at, Top MMA News was able to confirm the match up with Ringside match maker Joey Benoit.

Cote (14-7), who most recently competed for Ringside on April 9 in the promotion’s first venture into Montreal’s Bell Centre, returns to the promotion a mere two months after dismantling Kalib Starnes in a three round unanimous decision victory. The Starnes’ victory was Cote’s first win in three years, as the French Canadian took off half of 2008 and all of 2009 to recuperate a knee injury suffered in the Middleweight title clash with UFC champion Anderson Silva. Cote returned to the UFC in 2010 and suffered back to back losses against Alan Belcher and Tom Lawlor.  After the 3 consecutive defeats, Cote was given his UFC walking papers. Cote looks to continue on his road back to the UFC with a win over Todd Brown.

Brown (15-3) looks to make his first foray into the Middleweight division after a brief stint in the UFC at Light-Heavyweight. Brown made his debut in the UFC in 2010 and lost to Tim Boetsch via unanimous decision. Brown received his UFC walking papers after a first round TKO loss to Igor Pokrajac at UFC Live 3. Now the Muay Thai and BJJ specialist looks to use Cote as his stepping stone to return to the UFC.

Ringside 11 takes place June 4 in Quebec City at Le Colisee. The Cote versus Brown match up is joined by an already announced Bantamweight title match up between Dimitri Waardenburg and Stephane Pelletier.

tough fight but the type that will get him a invite back to the UFC if he gets a few more. Think he will need more then 2 wins in row to get a call back.
