I really thought he was looking great till the KO man. Lost round 1 (10-9), then won round 2 (10-8 with the point deduction) and was in control of round 3. It was his fight.

His former weaknesses (ground defense, cagework, in-betweens) were improved to the point of almost being strengths in the fight.

    Brutal KO tho man yeah.

Rua was not in shape. Not at all.

Felt bad for him. Man is he up and down.

He looked back to how he looked vs Forrest.

  8. Robin Black says:

Not saying he’s not or that he’s arrogant or anything but, like so many athletes now, his interviews feel like a calculated performance.

Ever watch a hockey player get interviewed? Everything they say is perfect and the same all the time?

I hope mma doesn’t get like that.

Robin when you see sean let him know that Moko pooed all over her cage last night then dragged it across the living room and kitchen. Now Paulo doesnt want to come downstairs and the whole situation just reminded me that i think sean stinks.

  13. Jon”Bones”Jones stopped Mauricio”Shogun”Rua with dynamic style and impressive athleticism at UFC 128. Only three years into his professional career as a mixed martial artist, Jones has now becomes the youngest champion in UFC history.A feat I didn’t think was possible, for me there was no question “Bones” Jones would be champion one day,but how did he do it so easily?

I figured he’d be tested like never before by Rua, a man considered to be one of greatest 205-pound fighters in history. Instead, Jones was never threatened by “Shogun”, controlling the match from the opening seconds. Jones was calm while throwing flying knee’s,elbows and In stand-up exchanges? Jones was too quick and long for Rua to handle. On the mat, Rua’s submission game was overwhelmed by Jones’s strong wrestling and vicious elbows. Rua was even hesitant to throw his devastating leg kicks, worried about Jones countering with a take-down. When Rua finally tried a kick in the second round, he wound up on his back eating “Bones” Jones elbows, not fun.The beginning of the end came in the third round when Rua failed on a sloppy take-down attempt and suffered a vicious beating from the powerful limbs of Jones. When he was able to stagger back to his feet, Jones quickly pounced and finished him against the cage with great accuracy.
“The strategy was to fight Jon Jones everywhere and anywhere the fight would go,” said Rua ,with both eyes swollen and a bloodied beaten face.

“I have to congratulate him. He was better than me.

Better…It was once again like stealing candy from a baby for Jon”Bones” Jones.

“He looks like he’s a mile ahead of everybody else,” said White.“He looks incredible. In my opinion, not only is he the No. 1 light heavyweight in the world, he just shot up in the pound-for-pound category, too.”

I guess it’s simply time for me and everybody else to except the fact that the Michael Jordan of the sport has arrived. Jon Jones is the perfect combination of genetics and work ethic,we are witnessing the dawn of a new day. There’s no logical or rational reasoning to think any other light heavyweight would have a shot against Jon Jones, maybe not a human on the planet

I personally don’t care to see GSP vs Silva at 185…. What I want to see is Silva vs Jones at 205! That is a fight!
