Top MMA News has learned that Clay Davidson  will face Victor Valimaki at Aggression MMA 6 on March 11. Valimaki and Davidson will be looking to right their ships after losing their last fights.

This is a solid matchup between the #6 ranked Canadian Light-Heavyweight, Valimaki, against the #8 ranked Davidson.  After losing to Karl Knothe at TFC 12, the 16-8 Valimaki stated he was going to take some time off.  Victor’s break from MMA turns out to be three months and he will be in the training room soon.

Davidson will be coming in off his first loss since 2007.  The 5-2 Toshido MMA fighter lost to BJJ ace Robert Drysdale in his last fight after reeling off five wins in a row.   Davidson will be looking to climb the Canadian rankings by beating the former TFC champion.  Davidson commented on the upcoming fight,

“I’m really excited.  Victor is a great fighter and I can’t wait to throwdown with him.  I am training my ass off in preparation for a war.”

The Davidson/Valimaki fight joins a Bantamweight title fight between Diego Wilson and Josh Hill on the card.  Stay tuned to Top MMA News for more updates on this card.
