The April 9th Ringside card keeps getting bigger and better.

Top MMA News previously wrote about the Patrick Cote vs Kalib Starnes bout and three title fights that are scheduled for Ringside’s Bell Centre show. Now, Top MMA News has learned that Mike Ricci will return to the cage on April 9th.

This will be Mike Ricci’s first fight in just short of a year. Fans will remember Ricci losing via a quick KO to Pat Curran in the first round of the Bellator Lightweight tournament last April 15th. Curran went on to win the tournament. The loss was Ricci’s first of his career and Mike took a step away from fighting in the meantime. Now, it appears that the promising Montreal fighter is ready to get back on the winning track at Ringside 10.

Although unconfirmed by Ringside officials, Mike Ricci, who has beaten fighters like Jordan Mein and Rory McDonell, will face London’s Jesse Ronson. Ronson sports a similar 5-1 record as Ricci after arm barring Alka Matewa at WRECK on January 28.  In fact, Ronson was the one who let the cat out of the bag thanking Chris Clements for setting up the fight with Ricci during his post-fight interview at WRECK.
