MacDonald to Face Wilks at UFC 129

UFC 129 rumours are coming fast and furious now that the new year is here.  Now comes speculation that Rory MacDonald will face TUF 9 champ James Wilks at UFC 129.

Rory MacDonald is coming into the face after his first career loss against Carlos Condit at UFC 115 in a Fight of the Night performance. MacDonald won 10 in a row prior to his set back against Condit.

Rory will look to get back to winning ways against Wilks, who is also coming into the fight off a loss. Wilks lost to Claude Patrick at UFC 120.

Seems like they really want to give Rory another win, nothing against Wilks or Matt Brown but I can’t see either one giving him much trouble… Not after seeing Rory dominate Condit for two rounds!

meh they did the same thing with GSP when they let him fight for tko against Dave Strasser! A game fighter but no one who would kill him! They will do the same to build up the guys with huge hype! especialy the ones that can back it up! Rory won that fight against Condit in my eyes!

The fight against Condit was a pretty big step up. Some are saying Condit’s in the mix for a title shot.

They still haven’t given Jon Jones a top five, and he’s been around longer.
