UFC 124 Bonuses

The UFC announced their bonuses at their post-fight press conference. Here are the big winners of $100,000.

  • Fight of the Night – fans voted on the Fight of the Night and as Dana White said, “They blew it.”  Fans picked the main event as the best fight of the night giving  Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck $100,000.
  • Submission of the Night – the UFC split the $100,000 between two nice submissions. Canada’s Mark Boceck won $50, 000 for his Triangle on Dustin Hazelett while Jim Miller picked up the same for his Knee Bar on Charles Oliveira.
  • Knockout of the Night – No question here.  Mac Danzig’s KO of Joe Stevenson took home the $100,000.

Hate Dana all you want, but he is a dude for saying that.

    Pierson-Riddle was FOTN for sure.

GSP needs to cut Pierson a cheque. Sean ran a clinic on Riddle and to his credit Riddle was tough enough to keep coming forward with a smile on his face. Great fight.

  4. I thought Bongfeldt/Natal was FOTN. Fun fight and both MWs were moving like Lightweights until the last round when Bongfeldt started dominating.

I did not think Pierson/Riddle was FOTN. I thought it was too one sided. Riddle looked robotic and seemed to rarely land. He just came forward like a robot throwing rockem sockem punches in the air. Pierson looked good.
