UFC 124 Prelim Results – Dan Miller Wins

The prelims of UFC 124 feature a Canadian in every bout.  Last UFC in Montreal, only one Canadian one.  Things are shaping up much better this time.  Here are the results (starting around 7:30 Eastern Time):

Dan Miller defeats Joe Doerksen by Split Decision (29-28 x 2, 28-29)

Mark Bocek submits Dustin Hazelett by Triangle Choke in Round 1, 2:33

Jesse Bongfeldt and Rafael Natal fight to Majority Draw (28-28, 28-28 and 29-28)

Sean Pierson defeats Matt Riddle by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x 3)

Ricardo Almeida defeats TJ Grant by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x 3)

John Makdessi defeats Pat Audinwood by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26)

    The judges scored Bongfeldts fight (28-28,28-28,29-28) he lost the first and second rounds then dominated the third and 2 judges gave him 10-8 rounds. Side note fans got the vote for “Fight Night Bonuses” and gave FOTN to GSP and Koscheck where most people felt that Pierson and Riddle deserved it. Dana White said fans blew it and Pierson and Riddle would be financially compensated.
