Valimaki vs Knothe was at a HW catchweight?
It appears so yup – 215lb catchweight.
Only one missed weight!! Thats gotta be a record for an mma show in 2010.
LOL Sean, there’s been a couple where all made weight…
Get the fuck outta heeeerre!
Haha… you gotta watch close though, blink and you might miss them!
mike scarcello’s fight got cancelled, im really sorry to hear this knowing how hard mikey has worked for this fight,
Bummer, was looking forward to seeing Mike fight again!
Turns out both Ryan Ford and Jess Clarke are reporting that Sieben injured himself today so that fight is off as well… looks like a 5 fight night.
Ryan Sieben pulled out of the fight today. Said he slipped on ice. Last week he pulled out of KOTC via text message an hour before fight time.
Promoters – Please add Sieben to your TJ Coletti list of fighters you will never hire!
Sieben pulled out of HeatXC 2 weeks prior to his fight with Mike Froese as well.
Fuckin brutal!
I’m not gonna go now, give me a break 5 1/2 fights. GOD DAMN! I’m pissed!
5 1/2?
Mike Scarcello vs Brandon Pumais *Top MMA News was told these two will weigh in tomorrow
Is this one happening? That’s a half.
Also is this one happening ?
Jesse Clarke (187.4) vs Ryan Sieben (192.6) *Fight will go, Sieben forfeits 20% of purse
December seems like a very difficult month for Edmonton Promoters. Come on Bobby, Awada Fight Club put on 5 fights last week and you yourself said it was a sick card. Maybe these five will be as good as ACC’s. Support local MMA.
Nope not doing it!
I had an interest in Awada due to Luke being on the card, honestly I wouldn’t have gone otherwise (it was a great fight card).
I’m not gonna say anymore as it’ll be a huge rant and I don’t really wanna get into it, but “support local mma” is a joke.
I’m most looking forward to Alex Ricci’s MMA debut.
Bobby should have free tickets to all edmonton events.
I never have free tix, (sorry I’ve got a few maybe)
@ Bobby
I believe it is because the market is saturated with Promotions its hard to have quality fights with a promotion every weekend… and due to the fact that the commission does not hold fighters responsible for last minute pull outs and grants everyone a fight license!!!!!!!
Zach, oh yea man for sure that a big reason. Overall I’ve been very disappointed this year.
