The Crow Flies South for a Title Shot


David Loiseau will make his return to the cage in early 2011 as he challenges Leopoldo Serao for the Tachi Palace Fights Middleweight title.

Serao won the TPF strap in September with a split decision win over veteran Anthony Ruiz. Serao will carry a three fight win streak into the Loiseau tilt with wins over Jaime Jara, Phil Collins and the aforementioned Ruiz.

Loiseau, fresh off his UFC release, looks to get back on the winning track when he faces Serao. Loiseau last contest was a TKO lose to Mario Miranda back at UFC 115. Loiseau is 4-2 in his past six fights with wins over Todd Gouwenberg, Andrew Buckland, Solomon Hutcherson and Chester Post. His two loses came in the UFC to Ed Herman and Miranda. was the first to report the news and confirmed it with TPF official Jeremy Luchau. Tachi Palace Fights 8 takes place February 2011 at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino and Lemoore, Calif. An exact date for the show will be announced soon.
