Aggression Cancelled, Awada Combat Club Emerges

Aggression MMA has cancelled its upcoming December 3rd card at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Promoter Harvey Panesar confirmed this news to Top MMA News today. Look for Aggression to return in the new year.

However, stepping right into its place is the Awada Combat Club (ACC). This new Edmonton promotion will take many of the fighters scheduled to appear on Aggression and have them fight for the ACC on December 3rd. Fighters including Luke Harris, Mukai Maromo, and Shane Campbell are all scheduled to appear on the ACC card at the Maharaja Banquet Hall. The ACC show is entitled Era Fight Night due to the involvement of Era Fight Wear. UFC Star Tim “the Thrashing Machine” Hague and the ERA Fight Wear ladies will be attending the event.

The Awada Combat Club intends on becoming a regular promotion on the Edmonton fight scene. Look for more information on this event from Top MMA News.

Update (17:00 CST): Tim Hague’s return to the UFC did not impact the postponement of the Aggression card.

I want to thank Moin and Harvey for all the effort they have put in the last couple weeks. I know Aggression has been working on some big things and I hope they fall into place in the very near future!!
I would also like to thank George Awada for his effort in stepping up and putting on a show!! George puts alot of effort into the Edmonton fight game and gets very little recognition.
It would of been very easy for people to step away from the scheduled event and left alot of people hanging in the wind. I feel the correct decision was made and the loyalty from the people involved will be remembered.
