Jason High Returns to Alberta at HeatXC

Jason High (10-3) is returning to Alberta on October 15, according to Dave Pavelich, President of the HeatXC organization. High is headlining HeatXC 6 after last beating Canada’s #9 Welterweight Jordan Mein.

The decision win over Mein was High’s first since making the DREAM Welterweight Grand Prix finals in 2009. Aside from Mein, ‘The KC Bandit’ has beaten top fighters such as Kevin Burns and Andre Galvao. High also made a brief stop in the UFC earlier this year.

Jason High will face the 5-0 Keto Allen at Heat XC 6: Bragging Rights. Allen, who hails from Calgary, has been impressive in his two year career finishing all five of his fights. Allen has previously fought three times for the Maximum Fighting organization beating Doug Page, Aaron Berke, and Jason Gorny. This is a huge step up for Allen.

Also on the card will be Chase Degenhardt (7-1). Degenhardt, who is #9 on the Canadian rankings, will face Nigel Zettergreen at the Mayfield Inn event on October 15.

Team Canada National Rugby player Nick Dragich and CFB Garisson Corporal Shane Brown are also scheduled to appear.
