Aren’t Wes’s shows both considered Pro fights? How is he fighting amateur now? Can somebody clear this up.
If you have a losing, or even MMA pro record, you are still able to fight AM. Look at Rob Tracey’s MMA record, and he fights for Hybrid now
??? really? at what point is it no-go? I mean surely you cant take an ammy if you’re 4-6 ? Who decides this?
thanks for getting back.
Not sure. Maybe the Quebec Athletic Commish? But Hybrid is host to multiple fighters who have dipped into the pro level either too early, or without the necessary skill sets.
dunno how great an idea that is. The Hybrids are always entertaining though.
The main event will be interesting.
Also where did you see Wes was fighting on this card? It says Jeff Andrews is fighting Nick Lynch on here..
on the hybrid fb page. I guess it got added recently. hit the ‘see more’ bit and there it is.

Interesting. Maybe Wes is gaining as much experience as he can between pro fights? He won his last bout via knockout…but I know his training partner Gerry Bruyere went to Hybrid after losing his debut at Wreck back in April too.
Either way it’s always fun to see Wes fight. He’s a good guy
how is the 10-1 vs 8-3 not for a title?
Beats me. Still not a huge fan of guys with pro experience on these.
To Hybrid’s credit, guys with records that are at least in the same galaxy are fighting one another.
I look forward to this show. They are very well-run and always entertaining.
Your aloud to fight amateur if one of the following conditions are met: 1. You have less that 4 pro fights 2. You have no pro wins. So my understanding is you can be 2-1 pro and still fight amateur or 0-12 and fight amateur.
Keep an eye on Papineau, hes gunna be big
