Awesome pics Jason!!
Thanks Mark! Always a pleasure :)
Always great to see the pics. Tells the fight story for those of us who could not see them live.
Those pics are telling me that Rachel Swatez lost to a home town decision…
Never leave it in the hands of the judges!
Swatez got screwed for sure.
Great pics though Jason! As usual!
Jason is absolutely awesome!!!!
Had a very good talk with Sy about the fight. Like most, we both feel she lost the fight. But like I told her, she did do a lot of things right. Rachel desrves a lot of credit for fighting a great fight!!
I felt Sy won the first round and Rachel definitely deserved the second. The third round was very even, but I felt Rachel took it with her domination of the last 20 seconds.
We knew Rachel was very good with her ground and pound. I was very impressed with Sy’s toughness as she took a tonne of punishment at the end of the second and third rounds. I do feel Sy was much better when the two were on their feet. But I told Sy she has to stay away from “That Karate Kid bullshit!!” She was doing great when she was throwing straigh, crisp punches. The spinning fists were getting her in trouble!
I want to commend both ladies for putting on a great show!! they both showed a lot of heart. I can see them meeting again.
Thanks guys! And I’d agree with the general assessment of the Swatez-Jewett fight… was definitely fight of the night though… those girls can go!
Love the pics. I should have bought tix to this one. Valimaki will be back.
