MFC is heading back to River Cree

Maximum Fighting Championships has announced that MFC 26, scheduled to take place at the Keystone Center in Brandon, Manitoba, will relocate back to The Venue at River Cree in Edmonton, Alberta! After a brief absence from the River Cree Hotel and Casino, the MFC will make their return on September 10! MFC will compete for the MMA spotlight in Edmonton with The Fight Club as they will be holding their event, TFC 11: Full Force on the same night at the Shaw Conference Center!

Fans will have a tough choice between the two as TFC will feature two title fights – a rematch between Victor Valimaki and Martin Desilets for the TFC World Light Heavyweight Title as well as a pair of streaking local fighters in Mitch Clarke and Josh Machan battling for the vacant Canadian Lightweight title.

On the other hand, the MFC will counter with Ryan Ford’s return to the promotion where it all began as he takes on American Top Team “Phenom” Douglas Lima as well as a Lightweight title fight between challenger Luciano Azevedo and champion Antonio “Mandingo” McKee who has not been defeated in almost 7 years!

huh I am not shocked the Manitoba event did not go down. Little battle for Edmonton to go on now with this event, Valamaki or Ford……I will go to the event without Antonio McKee and go to TFC probably, just more fighters that have my interest on a local level and just a lot funner match ups I think.
