Injured Valimaki Off Aggression Card

By:

Victor Valimaki was to fight Ovince St. Preux in the main event of Aggression MMA 4 this weekend.  Unfortunately, that will not happen as Valimaki broke his hand in training as confirmed by Aggression MMA.

With the Valimaki tussle scratched, Tim Hague and Zak Jensen will move into the main event spot of this card.  In addition to this move, Aggression announced the signing of the Andrew Buckland/Ryan McGillivray rematch as previously reported here.

Victor is heartbroken over the injury. The same day I did an interview with Tim Hague I did one with Victor. He was looking forward to the fight very much!!
He hurt his hand and tried his best to “suck it up” but there was no way he could fight effectively. We talked about it and I gave him my opinion which was to make sure the hand wouldn’t be a problem. It is my opinion that a loss after what happened against Desilet would be devistating.
It was not an easy decision for Victor but I believe it is the right one!!
