Goulet to Headline Ringside 8

Top MMA News was led to believe that Mitch Gagnon versus John Franchi was going to be the main event at Ringside 8. However, Ringside is pulling out all the stops with their recent signing of Jonathan Goulet to their main event on August 7th card.

Goulet (22-11) was released by the UFC after losing to Marcus Davis at UFC 113. Goulet, Canada’s fifth ranked Welterweight, will be fighting Matt MacGrath (8-3). MacGrath is coming off a loss to the UFC’s Claude Patrick after taking him deep into the third round.

Also added to their Quebec City card is a fine Featherweight bout featuring two Canadians – Guillaume Lamarche and Tristan Johnson. Other fighters on the card include Kevin Morin, Guillaume Fortier, and Stephane Bernadel.

i would love to see Team Iroquois fighter Taylor KING Solomon fight Daylin Logan Taylor would destroy Daylin in the 1st rd.. Also i think Johnathan goulet would be an easy punching bag for the KING.

  2. I really like the Goulet matchup. I don’t think this is an easy fight in the least bit. MacGrath gave Patrick all he could handle.

All or nothing for Ringside. They need to put together a solid show or they will be done. 1000 people combined in their last 2 shows.

I like watching Ringside and I will support them again. Hopefully it’s not for the final time.
