Chase Degenhart out 9 weeks with broken hand

Top MMA News broke earlier today that Chase Degenhardt would be taking on Jason Day on the EFC 5 card taking place July 24th in Lloydminister Alberta.

Unfortunately Chase has a broken left hand above the meta carpals and will be out of action for 9 weeks. This is devastating news for Chase and his team as they have worked really hard to get this opportunity.

Top MMA News will keep you posted on any potential replacements for Jason Day and also we have news of some other big names being added to this card as the matchups are finalized.

Sorry to hear about your injury Chase, I know how you feel as I have been doing physio for the past month and am waiting on a MRI. There will be another big fight waiting for you when you heal up I am sure.
