Gormley vs Fortin Heavyweight Tilt Added to MFC 25
Mark Pavelich keeps stacking his MFC 25 card. In a recent conversation with the President of Maximum Fighting, Pavelich informed Top MMA News of an undercard bout that was recently added to one of the best cards that Top MMA News has seen in Canada outside of the UFC.
Chase Gormley (6-2) will take on the super tough Ryan Fortin (3-2) in a battle of Heavyweights on May 7. Heavyweights are rare at the MFC but Mark Pavelich wants to bring Fortin back because “he is one of the meanest fighters I know,” says the MFC head. Top MMA News was there live and can confirm Fortin’s toughness. At MFC 23, Fortin was taking Nick Penner’s head off while nursing a broken ankle sustained prior to the fight starting! Fortin is 2-2 in the MFC organization and hopes to improve on that record.
As for Gormley, he most recently had a stint in the UFC where he lost the only two bouts of his career to Stefan Struve and Brendan Schaub. Now he hopes to get back on the winning side of the record with a fight over Fortin.

Fortin keeps getting tough tests. I think he’ll do quite well with Gormley, not sure if he’ll win but he’ll def give Gormley a run for his money.
nice post. thanks.
