At the W1 show tonight, Steve Bosse was announced as the latest W1 signing.  Bosse last beat Marvin Eastman by Unanimous Decision at MFL 2.  Now he is scheduled to fight in the next W1 card.  No opponent has been named.

Bosse, shown in the picture,  is the number eight ranked Light-Heavyweight on the Top MMA News rankings (look here).  Bosse has won his last five fights and is unbeaten since 2007.

I heard that only 600-700 people showed up.

From a very reliable source, less than 150 tickets were sold and a total of less than 200 people showed up at the venue.

My friend trains with Bosse and he never signed any contract with W-1 – he was caught by surprise when they made that announcement as he thought they were just presenting him to the crowd as a guest.

The show was a disaster, the worst show ever in MMA history in Montreal.

    This fights were amazing.

I heard the tv commentators say that the tickets were sold in bulk to one person. Sounds like they were sabbotaged.

Michele – the fights were amazing.

    Pat Healy looked great.

Carvalho vs. Fyvie was my favourite fight. Carvalho dominated but man does Fyvie have heart.

Bosse, if he did sign, will be a huge draw.
