Roger Huerta Signs With Bellator

Roger Huerta, formerly of the UFC, has been signed by Bellator Fighting Championship.  Huerta, like the other Lightweight Bellator signees, will enter the Season 2 Lightweight tournament that starts April 8th.

Undoubtedly, Bellator signed the fighter, who at one time graced the Sports Illustrated cover, for not only his fighting ability but the name recognition he will bring to the organization.  A fan favorite in the United States as well as Mexico, Huerta will surely bring more viewers to the Bellator fights.

Huerta joins previously announced six previously announced Lightweight fighters that include the likes of Canada’s Mike Ricci and Ferrid Kheder.  The winner of the Season 2 tournament will face the Bellator champion, who right now is Eddie Alvarez.
