Maybe… But I’d like to see Starnes vs. Hichliffe first!

Does anyone know if Hicks made weight this time?

  3. We were not able to get there for weigh-ins. I do know that the Starnes/Hicks fight was moved to a 190 lb catchweight a week ago.

  4. Rain-bows…Hicks missed the catchweight as well. Starnes mocked him at the weigh-ins. Read about it on our recap –

Marcus will only compete at Light Heavyweight from now on. Clearly he now understands that’s his weight class. I commend Kalib for his positive actions and outlook on the situation. As far as Marcus and his future with the AFC, we owe him atleast 1 more opportunity. He was very impressive in AFC 1 easily submitting Chris Peak, then stepping up to fight a top Canadian Middleweight in Starnes. Marcus will have first crack at putting a dent in what appears to be an adamantium armour of recently signed Misha Cirkunov at AFC 3 scheduled for July 17 2010 in beautiful Victoria BC.
