CCF 5 Quick Results – Britto KOs Kreyjto

By:

After all the debates over Unified Rules vs DREAM rules, disagreements between the Edmonton Commission and the Association of Boxing Commissions, and fierce competition between CCF and other Edmonton promotions, like it or not, CCF 5 is over.

After all the hype surrounding the event, problems plagued promoter Lino Santoro’s card and he was left with only five fights that lasted less than 15 minutes total.  The DREAM rules did come into play in two fights.  Two fights used more than the usual Unified Rules’ five minutes in the first round and the Noyes/Williams bout also had a few knees to a downed opponent.  No fighters wore gis or wrestling shoes.

Here are the results:

Jorge Britto defeats Josh Kreyjto by KO in Round 1, 0:37

Tiago Tavares defeats Ryan Rother by TKO in Round 1, 5:06

Joel Johnson vs Bill Fraser –  CANCELLED Due to Incomplete Medicals by Fraser

Arnold Ranon defeats Corey Berridge by TKO (Ground and Pound) in Round 1, 0:27

Connor Noyes defeats Chad Williams by TKO (Ground and Pound) in Round 1, 5:40

Jordan Murray submits Jon Charbonneau by Arm Bar in Round 1, 1:51

The card has only six fights and the Joel Johnson vs Bill Fraser fight has been pushed later as they are still waiting for medicals from Fraser!

What a crock of S*#t. Fraser did submit medicals and then in the stupid arguements about the rules on the night they lost his paperwork. It almost seemed another promotion was trying to make CCF go down in flames at every turn
