Nick Denis Returns to Sengoku March 7

Canada’s number one bantamweight, Nick Denis, will be returning to Japan on March 7.  On the Sengoku 12 card, Denis will move up to Featherweight to face Yuji Hoshino.  Denis, who recently beat Sean Quinn at Wreck MMA, told Top MMA News this recent update.

Hoshino has a record of 16-7-7 and lost to Marlon Sandro in his last MMA fight.  Prior to that Sengoku 11 defeat, Hoshino went undefeated in eleven bouts dating all the way back to 2004.

Nick Denis, who is 9-1, also lost to Marlon Sandro in Japan.  Since that loss in the Sengoku Featherweight tournament, Denis has been tearing up Canadian Bantamweights.  Denis, who is always looking to finish fights, has recently stopped Jason Towns in Aggression MMA and Sean Quinn in the first WRECK card.

This is the second future fight that Denis has scheduled.  On April 16, Denis will be fighting for the WRECK MMA Bantamweight title against Team Quest’s Ian Loveland.
