XKL Shifts from Dubai to Michigan; Mark Holst to Face Corey Hill

XKL - March 20

XKL President Eric Rafiq confirmed to Top MMA News that the show originally scheduled for Dubai has been moved to Michigan.  Rafiq stated, “The reason that we changed the venue from Dubai to Michigan at this time was due to the economics in Dubai it was a bad move.”

According to Rafiq, the XKL “will still be doing an event in Dubai” at a future date.  “This year we have about nine fights ready and booked for events in the USA and around the world.”

The XKL lineup looks pretty solid.  Ricco Rodriguez, Jeff Monson, and Vinny Magalhaes will be on the March 20th event.

Also on the card will be Top MMA News’ own Mark Holst, who is author of the Boots Scraps column that details his life, training, and travels as a fighter.  Holst will be facing ex-UFC fighter Corey Hill.  Fans will remember Hill from his scary leg break at UFC Fight for the Troops against Dale Hartt.

As previously announced, Holst will still fight for the XKL World Lightweight title.  Although he originally was scheduled to face Scott McAffe, he will now fight Hill for the belt.
