Sean Pierson Signed to Bellator Welterweight Tournament
Bellator Fighting Championships has signed Sean “Pimp” Pierson to its stable of Welterweight fighters for the upcoming tournament commencing April 8th. Pierson joins the likes Dan Hornbuckle and UK native, Jim Wallhead. The group of talented Welterweights will enter the eight man tournament with the winner scheduled to face Lyman Good, the winner of Bellator’s Season 1 Welterweight tournament.
Pierson enters the tournament carrying with him some momentum after stringing together a four fight win streak in Quebec organizations with his most recent win coming at Wreck MMA: Fight for the Troops with a first round TKO stoppage over Fabio Holanda.
Pierson spoke to Top MMA News about going to Bellator:
