Rory MacDonald and Team Toshido

To no one’s surprise, Rory MacDonald has signed to fight on the UFC 115 card.  Currently, UFC 115 is scheduled to be held in GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia.  Rory MacDonald confirmed that he has signed to fight at UFC 115 to Top MMA News tonight.

The Kelowna fighter is coming off a victory over Mike Guymon at UFC Fight Night 20.  MacDonald overcame an early knockdown to dominate Guymon and eventually secure the win with an Arm Bar.  The victory was Rory’s first in the UFC and kept his record perfect at 10-0.

Rory told Top MMA News in an interview prior to his UFC debut that it would be great to fight where he watched the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks play.  Now he has his chance.  “If 115 is in Vancouver than thats where I have signed to fight,” Rory stated to the site today, “I am very excited.”

His opponent at UFC 115 is to be determined.

IF UFC 115 does end up in Van, does anyone know whether or not Rory will be on the main card? I only ask because I predict main card in 3 for Rory

@Mike – Condit was supposed to face Daley which was scheduled for the main card back at 108 so I could see this making the main card simply because Condit has that name recognition and the card will more than likely be taking place in Rory’s backyard.
